Sanctuary Crème Soufflé Review

Sanctuary  Crème Soufflé Review

Hello all, hoping you are well! Today I thought that I would share one of my favourite body moisturisers with you, something which makes me feel like I have just walked out of the spa.
I first came across the Sanctuary Crème Soufflé a year or two ago when my boyfriend’s Mum left it on the bathroom counter as she thought the consistency was too thick for her skin.  My boyfriend excitedly came through from the bathroom and ordered that I tried it because the formula is something which he had never come across in a body product. The intrigued part of me made me return to the bathroom with him and I picked up a tiny amount on my finger. I was so surprised by the texture, it made us both laugh.  Imagine sticking your finger into a creamy, chocolate mousse and you wouldn’t be far off.Crème-Soufflé-By-Sanctuary

The idea of this moisturiser is that the whipping of the product makes it incredibly creamy. A tiny bit goes a long way, and it does live up to it’s claims by making your skin feel incredibly soft. I think this might be a little too thick for summer (unless you have dry skin), although it definitely doesn’t leave an oily residue on the skinSanctuary-Sanctuary-Crème-Soufflé-Review

The scent is typical of all of the Sanctuary products. It’s pretty hard to describe, but it is very distinctive.  I believe that is quite a masculine scent, but don’t worry, it doesn’t make you smell like a 14 year old boy after a trolly dash down the aisle full of Lynx!Sanctuary-Sanctuary-Crème-Soufflé

This retails at £10.50, which isn’t bad for a product which really lives up to it’s claims, but it is on the pricey end of a high-street beauty product.  The comforting fact is that Sanctuary always seems to be part of the 3 for 2 offer, so it is a good time to stock up on other things (their hand wash and salt scrub are two more of my personal favourites).

Considering the price of this, I tend to use this if I am having a pamper night as it really makes me feel like I am treating myself.  This is why I also believe it would be a lovely gift, especially paired with a lovely bubble bath and/or body scrub.

Who doesn’t love a pamper night?
