Rimmel Match Perfection (Classic Beige) Review

When I was younger, I was blessed with amazing skin. It was always perfectly clear and looking back, I envy my 12 year old self. In the last few years, its not been too bad. I am pretty lucky in the fact that I rarely get spots, and my skin isn’t too bad, but by no means its the clearest. I suffer with dry skin and dry patches, I have a dry patch on my cheek right now which no matter what I use, it will not go away. It is obvious its there as when I wear my bronzer/blusher it always goes darker. My latest quest was to find a High Street foundation that gave me a flawless finish. I bought this Rimmel Match Perfection from Morrisons, they had it on offer for £4.99 so I knew that for that it was worth a try. Hand a note over and I was away. I tried this on after using my MUA Primer, and then by using my Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush, and I was pretty impressed with the results.

It says that it will be “a match so perfect, it’s undetectable in any light. Light perfecting radiance foundation with traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light. Lasts all day with a SPF of 18”. I do think it does give you a flawless finish. It lasts a good 6 hours without any signs of wear. It gives a medium coverage which is good because its just enough, and not too thick and horrible.
All in all, I think this is an amazing foundation, especially for a High Street one, and its price is always a bonus too. I don’t own any High End foundations, but I would love to try some to do a comparison.
What do you think of this foundation by Rimmel? Do you hate it, or love it just like me? I’ll be trying more of Rimmel’s foundation now I love this one!
