Hello everyone so here is my Rimmel London Clean Finish Foundation Review and swatches!
I purchased this new Rimmel foundation for $4.99 from CVS. I chose the color 340 Nude. I have yellow olive undertones so I was hoping that the foundations did not have only pink undertones to it so I was surprised to find that their were foundations with undertones that are suited for my skin. When I open this foundation I was very surprised to see that within the lid their was a spatula which is a great idea.
Normally I don’t buy foundations that do not come with a pump because I cannot stand having to pour a foundaton out of the bottle and then too much comes out and makes a mess. This foundation claims to give a 100% poreless look for a natural even complexion, lightweight for a clean fresh finish with vitamins A & E plus anti-oxidants, fragrance free and dermatologist tested. So this foundation gives a lightweight coverage but can be buildable to a slight medium coverage.
The texture of Rimmel London Clean Finish foundation is a little thick, when you apply it to your face you have to work quickly with it because it does dry fast so you have to take extra time to blend it into the skin. This foundation has a dewy finish so I suggest if you have oily skin like me its best to set it with a powder. I would only recommend this foundation to someone that has clear and dry skin because it gives a dewy finish and has light coverage.
For someone that is looking for a matte finish and coverage for blemish scarring this foundation isn’t a good choice. Would I repurchase this foundation? No I would not. I will be doing a foundation routine/review video soon using Clean Finish foundation.
