A pleasant day sweeties! here is my Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses Review!

So, you love high-end lipglosses but can’t afford the ridiculous price-tag?

Well say ‘Hello!’ to Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses! I’ve heard many beauty gurus on YouTube describe them as ‘The closest you will get to a high end lipgloss at the drugstore’, and they are soooo right!

These lipglosses just seem to tick all the boxes. Blendable and non-drying consistency, TICK. Fabulous colour payoff, TICK. Beautiful range of shades to suit every skin tone, TICK.

The four shades I currently have in my collection include 2 from Revlon’s current line, and 2 discontinued colours that I found at a discount make-up store for £1 a piece (I know, BARGAIN!)

Peach Petal

The highly raved about Peach Petal lipgloss is a Matte Pastel Pink shade, which usually, would send me running. As much as I love nude, light shades of lip color, my highly pigmented lips make it difficult to wear them without looking like I have incredibly dark lip-liner on as well. However, the creamy texture of this lipgloss means that it blends well into the edges of my lips and doesn’t sit in the lines, unlike many other nude lipglosses! I think this would look beautiful layered over a similar shade of lipgloss (maybe GOSH Darling, or MAC Creme de Nude).

Glossy Rose

I found this Lipgloss along with Coffee Gleam at a discount make-up shop for £1 a piece! So, I am guessing that they are discontinued shades, but still beautiful nonetheless. Glossy Rose is a mauvy, dark pink, with subtle irridescent glitter. The texture is just as fab as with the others, however, the shimmer doesn’t really pick up on the lips as it does in the tube. I’m thinking that this is possibly the reason why it was discontinued. However, it does give a beautiful colour anyway, even though it is not what I expected.

Coffee Gleam

This was probably the most unlikely colour of the bunch for me to buy. I generally steer-clear of browns because I feel that they can sometimes make my pale skin look a little ashy. However, whether its the glitter, or the bright tone of the brown, I love this one! It’s sort of a mahogany toned brown with silver glitter in it. A perfect shade for autumn, and a wearable brown for blondes!

These lipglosses can be found in Boots for £6.49, which makes them one of the more expensive drugstore lipglosses, but I definately feel it is worth it. I have heard many youtubers and bloggers calling these glosses, ‘as close as you will get to high end lipglosses in the drugstore’ and I most certainly agree! They have better coloure payoff than for example the Barry M lipglosses and are not as stick as Rimmel.

Revlon, I salute you!!

So, what is your opinion of these glosses? What are your favourite shades?
