Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Honey Review and Swatch

Lets just start off by saying – I am not a lip-product junkie.
I am ALWAYS complaining about lip products, and no matter what I can’t seem to ever find anything that I like.
I’ve totally abandoned MAC lip products, along with most other products, just because I can’t stand the feel.
I’ve found my one holy grail lipstick by YSL, holy grail lip gloss by Buxom, and that’s about it.
I’m terribly … terribly picky.
Because I hate lip products so much, when I find one I like it’s a pretty big deal.
I had been a pretty big fan of the Revlon Lip Butters, but some of them were too uncomfortable with their chunky glitter and shimmer. I was really on the market for a smooth, moisturizing product that would give some color pay off — thank you Revlon for fulfilling my wish!
2 Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm
The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are like no other lip product I’ve tried.
Resembling a chubby crayon, the twistable product is clever & practical.
They come in a wide variety of shades – shown above is one of the two neutral shades in 001 – “Honey”
The Kissable Balm Stains are available wherever you purchase your Revlon, for around $7.50.
Ulta is having buy two get one free on Revlon Products and there is a $3.50 off a $10 purchase. You could theoretically get three of these for just $12!
The packaging of the Revlon Balm Stains resembles a crayon with it’s chunky round casing and pointed tip. It allows you to apply effortlessly, and practically. The balm stain twists up so there is no sharpening or wasting product. Definitely a genius design!
3 Just Bitten Kissable Balm by Revlon
 Application is a breeze.
The packaging allows you to really apply these rather brainlessly.
They go on smooth and buttery and stay put all day, leaving behind a gorgeous tint of color.
They are not drying like lipstick, not sticky like lip gloss, and don’t leave your lips bare like a traditional balm.

4 pigmentation of the Kissable Balm

The pigmentation of the Kissable Balm Stains is amazing.

For a stain, you’d expect it to be drying and uncomfortable, but the precise blend between color and moisture is wonderful.

With this product you not only get the comforting moisture, but a beautiful wash of color.
It’s often hard with lip products, especially for those of us that are picky when it comes to the wear and feel. You want moisture, but you want some color too, it’s no fun just wearing chap stick every day!
With the wide shade variety and the affordability, the Kissable Balm Stains are right up my alley, and I’m sure they will be right up yours as well. Check them out!
