Created in Holland but now headquartered in Malaysia, Paul Penders Natural Makeup describes itself (adorably) as a ‘rather small company,’ which produces a comprehensive line of cruelty-free, vegan, and (partly) certified organic makeup, skincare and haircare. You may not have heard of Paul Penders before (unless you’re a hippy living in Malaysia, I guess… And in which case: WELCOME, FRIEND) as they’ve just launched in Australia with an online store, Facebook page, and (at this stage) limited availability in local salons and stores. To celebrate their Australian launch, from today through to Wednesday October 31st, Paul Penders are offering a 20% discount on their entire range, using the code 820002. If you sign up to their newsletter while you’re there, you’ll be in the running to win $100 of Paul Penders products each week.
To help familiarize you with the brand, I thought I’d give you a whirlwind tour of my picks from the Paul Penders makeup range (which is perhaps not quite as exciting as a whirlwind tour of Paris, but with much less risk of being glared at by a chic lady or stepping in dog poop). Paul Penders has a selection of twelve loose pigment Natural Mineral Eyeshadows($28AUD/2g) in screw-top, sifter jars (I removed the sifter for these pictures). Mocha Brown is a soft, milk chocolate grey-brown and Hot Saffron is a buttery gold-yellow… Yes, I thought it was more beige when I chose it.
As well as the loose eyeshadows, Paul Penders also have a selection of five loose pigment Natural Mineral Foundation Blushes ($28AUD/5g). Dazzling Rose is a (gorgeous) neutral medium rose pink. In terms of lip products, Paul Penders have one (clear) lip gloss and a selection of seven Natural Cream Lipsticks ($26AUD/3.5g). Tea Rose is a neutral, dusty medium tea rose with a satin finish.
Rather than a loose mineral foundation, Paul Penders has the comfy, mousse-like Natural Moisture Foundation($29.50/25g). I chose the lightest colour, Hazel Ivory, thinking it would suit my fair (but freckled) skin tone… Pale ladies, you have met your match.
P.S. Paul Penders charge a flat shipping rate of $15AUD on orders below $50AUD, with free shipping on orders above $50AUD. However, I did notice that the advertised prices don’t include GST, so an extra 10% is added to the subtotal at checkout.
Note: As mentioned, this was a sponsored post and these products were provided for consideration in accordance with my Disclosure Policy. Paul Penders doesn’t conduct animal testing.
