My Summer Make Up Look 2013
My goodness this year has been so stressful and it’s only July! I have been re down with University but it has finally come to an end and I am look forward to my job in September… This last year at University has really taken it’s toll on my stress levels, blog and the people around me but hopefully things will return to normal. I am off on holiday with my boyfriend from the 6th August in Spain near Puerto Banus which is long overdue and I am really looking forward to it…
Anyway I thought that to ease me back into blogging I would show you my current make up look for summer. With the hotter weather, I like to keep my foundation to a minimum but still feel like my skin is covered. I also like to use coral colours as I think these look brilliant on tanned skin. Also not forgetting contouring and highlight as this accentuates tanned skin if used correctly. Lastly, not forgetting bold yet natural brows. Brows for me would be the only thing I would do if I could wear one make up item for the rest of my life!
So on to the products…
Back Row L-R: Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder // Maybelline Pure BB Cream // Bourjous BB Bronzing Cream // Benefit They're Real Mascara // L'Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist
Front Row L-R: Topshop Bronzing Powder // Illamasqua Cream Blush in Rude // Vivo Baked Bronzer
Maybelline Pure BB Cream – This is my go to BB Cream everyday. I bought this version because of the Salicylic Acid that it has in it. I have recently been battling with a blemish prone forehead and thought that this would be beneficial. It is almost identical in finish to the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream so if your interested take a look at my post on it.
Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder – An affordable loose powder that sets make up and gets rid of any shine.
Bourjois BB Bronzing Cream – I wear this when I am looking for a little more of a bronzed look. I put a higher factor of suncream on my face so this helps to match up my face to the rest of my bodies colour! It smells very similar to the chocolate bronzer that they do…
Topshop Holidaze Bronzer – I love this bronzer for contouring and sometimes sweeping over my whole face.
Illamasqua Cream Blush in Rude – A fantastic colour for summer and easy to apply and blend on the cheeks
VIVO Baked Blusher in Sunkissed – Perfect to sweep on the cheek bones and areas that the light natural catches to give you a beautiful glow.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara – I actually use just the wand from this and use the Natural Collection mascaras by Boots! It is just the same!
L’ Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist in 02 Blonde – This colour is the exact colour of my roots so it allows my brows to look defined yet natural. It also comes with a wax to set the brow once done and a little brush… a fantastic brow kit!
So there is my Summer Make Up!
