To a certain extent I believe that what you pay is what you get, with foundations I like to stick to high end brands that I know won’t break me out or irritate my sensitive skin. However, at the end of the day when it comes to scraping that slap off I wanted something gentle, cheap and effective that didn’t require the harsh scrubbing effort of my I-know-I-should-take-off-my-make-up-but-I-can’t-be-bothered-make-up-wipes.
I have combination skin and suffer from both dry patches and blemishes, life isn’t fair. Anyway, Simple says that they believe in goodness and so there are no unnecessary or harsh chemicals in any of their products so they won’t upset your skin. I was in awe of the diverse range of products they offered, I gravitated towards anything that said ‘moisturising’ or ‘replenishing’. I’m an advertisers dream, such a sucker for packaging. Here’s the routine..!
I end with a special replenishing moisturiser for dry skin, this has quite a thin consistency so I use it in the morning because it goes well under my make-up. I need a moisturiser with a bit more to it for the night time. I haven’t got a bad word to say about these products, they really are fantastic and I love the green and white packaging. This whole routine is so affordable, around £3 each item I think in any Boots, Superdrug or Tesco’s, you can probably find them cheaper in wilkies or something like that 🙂 more money for make up!
Smile, it’s simple!
