My Night Skin Care Routine
We all love makeup. We love experimenting with new products to enhance our beauty. But a clear complexion is desired by all of us. No foundation or base or tinted moisturizer can make up for the beauty of naturally clear and glowing skin.
We know the basics. A healthy diet, lots of water- these are the keys to great skin. But a good skin care routine is just as essential! The skin repairs itself at night and it is therefore important to choose the correct products. I’ll be talking about my night skin care routine. I hope this post can be helpful for you!
I start off by cleansing my skin thoroughly and removing any makeup that I may be wearing. I cleanse using Himalaya’s cleansing milk with a cotton pad. I highly recommend this product! Using it religiously has really helped my skin. Then,with Maybelline’s makeup remover, I remove my lip and eye makeup.
I wash my face with Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion. Another highly recommended product. Very gentle and effective!
I’ve recently started using Himalaya’s night cream. Previously, I was using Cetaphil’s moisturizer. That’s a great product too. But this night cream makes my skin much softer. I like!
I’ve been using Himalaya’s under eye cream for about 2 years now. It is a good eye cream and keeps my under eye are soft and moisturized. But I haven’t tried any other eye creams so I cant compare. I am thinking about trying another eye cream though. Do leave a recommendation in the comments, if you know about an effective one.
Additionally, I use Almond oil twice a week, to keep dark circles at bay. I keep it on for about 30 minutes and then wipe it off.
Lastly, I pamper my feet and hands using Xerina cream (recommended by my dermatologist) and The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream
The steps may seem like a lot but they hardly take 15 minutes. And I guess we all can spare 15 minutes to take care of ourselves. Specially when the effects are visible and positive!
