MUA Lipsticks | £1 | Shades 2, 12 & 15 – Glam Radar

As you’ll know if you saw my haul post, I went online and obviously ended up buying half of the store on MUA products! Three of my buys were these lipsticks, in shades 2, 12 and 15. I already own a couple of lipsticks by MUA and was so impressed with their texture, pigmentation and amazing colour I had to have more!

Shade 2 – Amazingly pigmented, just like the rest. This is a gorgeous colour, a deep purple/pink which is a colour I would have never ever have seen myself in before Sunday, when I decided to brave it to wear out to celebrate Easter, and just another excuse to go out and have a good time! I was so impressed with it, and managed to get loads of compliments, which is always a bonus! I did have to re-apply half way through the night, after around 3 hours, which for the cheap price tag of £1, I really didn’t mind.

Shade 15 – The colour is so misleading on this one. On the website, it looked like a nude/everyday kinda colour, whereas to be fair it is more of a coral kind of colour. I was a bit disappointed  but once I’d tried it on with the rest of my make up done, I love it! I’m trying to be more adventurous with my make up, wearing bolder lip colours etc, so this is definitely a good colour for me. Again, I had to re-apply after a few hours, but what do you expect? Super rich and pigmented though, so you’ll look amazing!

Shade 12 – a glittery kinda pink. I’m so bad at trying to explain colours but hopefully by my swatches you’ll be able to tell the true colour. I can’t say I’ve ever worn a liptsick/lip colour with glitter, its definitely a new one to me! When I put this on, I was a bit unsure, but I soon grew to love it. I love the pink, and its perfect for a night out – the glitter hits the light and WOW you look like a superstar. This lipstick just glides onto your lips so evenly, and lasts so well. Because of how soft this lipstick is, it did need a top up a bit sooner than the rest, as it came off whilst drinking etc, but a quick swipe on the lips and you’re good to go!

For the little price tag that MUA offer, I would definitely tell anyone to try these lipsticks. What can go wrong for £1? Even if you don’t like the colour, you can always mix them (which I have tried before!). All you beauty bloggers out there, whatever your price budget, you need to try these lipsticks!
