No more monkeys jumping on the bed! Wonder why???? They are too busy chowing down on this delicious out of this world monkey bread that’s why! Craving something sweet then this is one recipe that can’t go wrong.  It has everything a sugar lover would crave with its cinnamon, brown sugar, and candied pecans that I added in because I love them so much.  This past weekend I made the unhealthy version of this recipe but I will also add the healthy version in this post so you can try both of them out.  Enjoy you monkey bread lovers!

Monkey bread recipe – Ingredients : 2 cans of any buttermilk biscuits (make sure you get the big cans I used Pillsbury Grands) 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 1 tsp of cinnamon 1 cup of brown sugar 3/4 cup of melted butter Pralines Candied Pecans any brand is fine

Fluted tube (or any pan shape you like)

Ingredients (healthy version) 2 cans of wheat reduced fat Pillsbury Grands 1/2 cup of Splenda granulated sugar 1 tsp of cinnamon 1 cup of Splenda brown sugar blend 3/4 cup of melted Brummel and Browns natural yogurt butter 1 cup of walnuts

Fluted tube (or any pan shape you like)

Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Pop out the Grands biscuits and separate each piece.  Cut each biscuit into a cross to create four separate pieces.  Do this to all of the biscuits. 2. In a large Ziploc bag add the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and all the pieces of the biscuits you cut.  Close the Ziploc bag and shake very well until all of the biscuits are coated with the cinnamon mix. 3. Spray the fluted tube with a non-stick spray all over and make sure to spray it evenly. 4. Mix the melted butter and brown sugar and set it aside. 5. Begin to layer your fluted tube with some cinnamon biscuits then some nuts.  Keep repeating until you finish all the ingredients to the top. 6. Then pour your brown sugar and butter mix on the top of all the cinnamon biscuits.  Put it in the oven for 45 minutes.  I would check it around 30  minutes and make sure it is cooking all the way through.  You do not want to eat raw dough.

Enjoy yummy Monkey bread !
