Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Lollipop & Shocking Coral Review

Hi girls here is my Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Lollipop & Shocking Coral Review!

I’d been eyeing these up in Boots for a little while, I loved the colours in the range but wasn’t a fan of the packaging. Recently (still might be) they were on offer if you bought one you could get another half price, in total it was around £10 for both and I used my Boots points to make them even more of a bargain!
I’m super glad I looked past the packaging because the lipsticks are amazing and have very quickly become two of my favourites.

Pink Lollipop is part of the Popsticks range, it gives me flash backs to the push pops I’d skip to the corner shop to buy except with less of a sticky mess and not as bad for your teeth, the lipstick even smells like a push pop it’s realllly nice. The Popstick range isn’t very pigmented, it’s more like a tinted balm but I love it and it’s great for chill days in the sunshine you can sip on a cold coke without needing to reapply a bazillion times. In the bullet it’s glittery and magical looking, thankfully for me at least none of that glitter ends up on the lips. Instead you end up with a light blue toned pink with a glossy sheen, it’s not sticky it actually feels nourishing.

Shocking Coral isn’t a Popstick so it’s packed with colour, it’s the perfect coral that isn’t too orange, it’s firmly in the pink family. It’s mega bright without being intimidating, the formulation is lovely and smooth making it incredibly easy to apply. For such a loud colour I’m impressed with the staying power, I got a fair few hours wear out of it, plus when it starts to fade it does so evenly meaning you don’t end up with patchy lips.
I’m a huge cheerleader for both of these, they’re summery, sweet and holy Hannah Montana I can’t stop smelling Pink Lollipop..send help.
