Maybelline Baby Lips ‘Intense Care’
It’s coming to that time of year where most people experience dry and chapped lips, so I thought I would review this for you all. Considering the massive hype surrounding these lip balms, I haven’t actually heard much about them since they appeared in our UK stores.
I bought this a couple of months ago when they first appeared on our shelves, and I am generally glad I bought it. It’s not the best lip balm I have ever used (Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream takes that title), but for £2.99 it’s alright! I keep my tube in my work pinny at all times and it is really good for when my lipstick starts to feel a bit dry and I can feel it settling into the lines on my lips. I also quite like using it before I put my lipstick on as it gives my lips a nice smooth base.
The only negative I have is the taste. I say taste because I love the peach scent but when I put it on my lips it just tastes strongly of soap and can also make other things taste similar. Bit of a weird negative but there we go!
Definitely one to keep in the hand bag or on the desk at work.
Did you succumb to the hype? What are your thoughts?
