Hi girls! I’ve already posted about the Mac samples I bought . Also, I have talked about the first sample, which was of the lip color Russian Red . Now for the second sample. It was of a pigment, in the color Tan.mac-pigment-tan-review-and-swatches

A pigment is a loose powder which can be used dry or wet. This particular color is a stunning pinkish bronze shade, which can be worn every single day! Mac describes this shade as aMuted Pinky Brown Bronze.
I prefer to use it wet, because it gives a really nice, metallic, sort of 3-D color. This has replaced my go-to eye shadow, which was Bad to the bronze.mac-pigment-tan-swatches

(L-R- used wet, used dry)
When I saw the shade first, I thought it could be similar to Bad to the Bronze. But it’s quite different. Check out the pic for comparison. Bad to the bronze is brown-bronze but in Tan, the pink is very obvious.mac-tan-pigment

(L-R- Tan, Bad to the Bronze) This pigment is super easy to blend. Also, it looks gorgeous when worn alone. I do wear primer underneath and this doesn’t crease at all. But I must tell you, eye shadows usually don’t crease on my lids. All in all, I do recommend this shade. It’s a pretty color which can be used everyday. I do suggest buying the sample first, to see if you like the color. Besides, the full jar is pretty big and I don’t think it can be finished.
