Mac Lady Danger lipstick Review, Swatch :
Lady Danger is one of the more popular Mac red lipsticks, particularly with those who love a bit of a vintage influence in their reds. It has a matte finish and is full of va-va-voom fiery orange-red pigment. It’s bold, forward…and a little intimidating even for a red-lip lover like me!
I think it’s the intense orange undertone that first frightened me away from Lady Danger; it’s shockingly bright – almost neon. A darling friend convinced me that I needed this shade and so I cashed in 6 of my empty mac products for a shiny new tube of Lady Danger…but I’m yet to wear it out of the house (with the exception of that first day in the Mac store.)
It’s not unflattering against my skin, despite the orange tone, but it feels foreign to me. I’m definitely more of a true-red or blue-red kinda gal. However, it’s tough to deny that Lady Danger is one hot shade! I’m thinking of wearing it out with a touch of bronzer and a flick of brown liquid liner. If I do, I’ll be sure to post an FOTD so you can see it in action.

The staying power is good because of the matte formulation and it doesn’t feel too dry on the lips. The full pigmentation means you only need a single swipe to get plenty of colour, thus it’s also great for blotting down for a more stained effect.
I think this shade would look particularly amazing on olive skin tones, but pale girls can definitely wear it – if you’re happy to stand out in the crowd!
