Too Faced Natural Eye Kit review and swatches. Too Faced is a good thing ! Well . . . the brand is at least. the personality-type is another can of worms! A few months ago I bought the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit, and have been using it on and off since. This is definitely one of those palettes that I keep coming back to, and can’t figure out why I stop using it in the first place! Here is a picture of the shadows swatched (w/o primer) down my arm. As you can see, most of these shadows are shimmery, and really pigmented! I find that these shadows apply beautifully, and stay on all day with a primer on underneath. There are two matte shadows in the palette (Velvet Revolver and Sexpresso), and there’s one shadow with chunkier glitter (Nude Beach). While I’m usually not a fan of chunky glitter, Nude Beach is a great shadow to put on the middle of your eye lid for an added pop, however, it may be too much glitter for an all-over-the-lid-shade. L-R: Heaven, Silk Teddy, Nude Beach L-R: Velvet Revolver, Pushup, Honey Pot L-R: Sexpresso, Erotica, Cocoa Puff This is a great palette for beginners, because it comes with pull out cards that can tell you three different looks: a neutral daytime look, a slightly darker look, and then a going-out look. I personally don’t use the cards because I have a ton of fun mixing the colors! I really like to mix Erotica and Honey Pot, as well as Pushup and Silk Teddy. This way I can even further customize my look. My favorite shade in the entire palette has to be Heaven. It’s a great matte skin tone color that’s perfect for contrasting the shimmery shadows as a highlight and to blend everything out. Overall, this is a great palette for new and old fans of makeup. The shades are very pigmented, and last all day. This kit even comes with cards to give you a starting point on how to use the palette! There are matte shades that can be used as eye brow fillers, and there’s a glittery shade to really give your eyes a pop. These eye shadows are some of the easiest to work with that I’ve come across, and I will definitely purchase more Too Faced palettes in the future!
