M.A.C Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon and
M.A.C Sheertone Blush in fleur power review and swatches :
Am I the first to realize that M.A.C changed the prices of their blushes to $20.00?
That freaking sucks.
But that is beside the point.
There are a couple of new M.A.C collections coming out this week, and although I may still buy the couple of blushes that I had my eye on, I decided to leave the other products behind and purchase a few permanent items. I have had my eye on these two blushes for awhile, and I figured I would get them while I was shopping at the mall today.
The first I chose to pick up is a Sheertone Blush in “Pink Swoon”
As you can see, Pink Swoon is a gorgeous bright pink, which is perfect for the upcoming seasons.
I don’t have a brighter pink at all in my collection – minus the obnoxiously near-neon pink in the 10 Color Blush Palette from Coastal Scents.
I really want to start branching out with the colors that I wear. I tended to stick toward M.A.C’s Melba or NARS’ Madly, so this is definitely a welcomed addition to my collection.
The second blush I chose to purchase is a regular Powder Blush in “Fleur Power” which is a Satin finish.
Unlike Pink Swoon, Fleur Power is a little bit more wearable for those of us who are shy to brighter pinks and corals. I think that I will reach for Pink Swoon more in the Spring and Summer, whereas I feel Fleur Power can really be worn year round.
It has a really gorgeous coral undertone, but it isn’t as obvious as a true coral or say Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush in ‘Tipsy’ which is almost a vivid orange coral.
That’s all for now, unless I decide to pick up those two blushes from the upcoming collection!
