L’Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer Review – Glam Radar

Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Touche Eclat has achieved cult status and for very good reason. I myself am quite the fan, but with its hefty pricetag, I’m always on the look out for a more purse bank balance friendly alternative, but so far, to little or no avail. The concealing highlighting pen from L’Oreal’s new Lumi Magique range however, has been bandied around as the latest rival to YSL’s empire, but with such big boots to fill, did it live up to expectations? loreal-lumi-magique-concealer-review-500x375-1 “L’Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer helps brighten the appearance of eyes. Helps cover any imperfections. Can be used to highlight cheekbones, brow bones and the cupid’s bow”. Where YSL have been so successful is with both the concealing and highlighting properties of their gold pen, and where so many other copy-cat pens have not been quite so successful is a failure to achieve this. L’Oreal’s Lumi Magique however is a beautifully lightweight concealer. It covers up pesky dark circles perfectly without caking alongside being a brilliant highlighter. lumi-magique-500x375-1 At £8.69, this is the most wonderful pen in concealing dark circles and red blemishes, whilst the light reflecting properties means that highlighting is a dream. Staying power is impressive, and with its sleek gold packaging, this is a serious contender to YSL’s throne. Fabulous.
