Barbara Daly Even Smoother Eye Base review – Glam Radar

Forget UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) or Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance there’s a new eye base in town. I’ve tried many an eye base over the years in a bid to stop my eyeshadow creasing and last throughout the day. I’ve found a few that work, Clinique, Benefit and ofcourse the infamous UDPP that everyone raves about but this one beats them allbarbara-daly-even-smoother-eye-base-review-500x375-1 It isn’t just the bargain-tastic price tag that knocks socks of the opponents at a mere £4 but the fact that it really does work, my shadow has never looked better. I’ve been wearing this for over a week now and have had no problems, it comes in a small clear case which I find easier for application compared to bases that are packaged in tubes. It has passed all tests and successfully helps my eyeshadow to stay in place all day through wind, snow and rain.  barbara-daly-even-smoother-eye-base The texture is similar to UDPP in the fact that its soft to touch with a lovely velvety texture and feels light when applied to the eyelid. I picked mine up from my local Tesco’s conveniently while grocery shopping, it’s by their Barbara Daly make up range. Anyone else found any good supermarket dupes?
