LUSH Lip Service Lip Balm review : Following on from yesterday’s post on the Popcorn lip scrub from Lush I thought it’d be a good idea to show you a great basic lip balm to finish off with afterwards. All of Lush’s lip scrubs work amazingly with Lip Service. This product is probably one of the few lip balms from Lush that I really do enjoy. There’s nothing wrong with their lip balms, I just have other favorites. I use this lip balm as a morning and night treatment, following on from a scrub. I don’t scrub daily (usually every other day) but I do use Lip Service twice a day. lush-lip-service-lip-balm When I first got my hands on this LUSH Lip Service Lip Balm I was a little baffled about why it’s so hard! Literally, it’s solid. This does take some getting used too and can be a little annoying at first as you do feel like you have to work hard to get anywhere. Once you know the knack, it’s effortless though! lush-lip-service-lip-balm-review It’s packed full of moisturising essentials, such as cocoa butter and shea butter. Also boasting of oils like Tangerine and Apricot… fruity! Like most Lush products there’s nothing nasty in this, it’s all natural and full of the good bits. As I mentioned, it does appear rather hard. What I suggest is leaving it on a radiator for a little while to warm up. This way it’s a lot easier to apply. It can be applied as it is, the easiest way to do so being by applying it directly to your lips rather than using a finger. Unlike a lot of lip balms this doesn’t sit on top of the lips. It sinks in and provides a barrier as opposed to laying there doing nothing. I hate having lips caked in product and end up licking it off without realising. There’s never that problem with this, because it sinks in all your left with is softness. This 10g tin of LUSH Lip Service Lip Balm will last you for ages and retails at £5.50 online or in your local Lush store.
