Mark & Spencer Nail Polish In Lemon, Soft Orange & Duck Egg Review – Glam Radar

A pleasant day to you all! here is my Mark & Spencer Nail Polish In Lemon, Soft Orange & Duck Egg Review!

I sincerely apologise for the lack of updates recently, but it is exam season so the blog has, and will continue to be, a little neglected whilst I focus on my studies. I did have time for a brief trip around the shops a few weeks ago, mainly for the purpose of buying presents, and I couldn’t help but have a peep at the cosmetic section whilst buying some snacks at Marks & Spencers. I noticed the Autograph products have completely gone (whether to be relaunched at a later date, I don’t know?) and the Perfection line has dramatically expanded; with over half a dozen different foundation formulations alone. The Essential Colours Nail Polishes I am using here have increased in price by 50p (now £3.00/8ml)… understandable but no less disappointing.

Lemon is a pale lemon yellow cream. It is a little bit on the sheer side, and even though three coats evened up the streakiness pastel shades are often prone to, I could still see a faint VNL so I added a fourth. M&S also make/made? another yellow called Neon Yellow which is a much more golden hue.

Soft Orange is a soft apricotish-orange with a cream finish. I love all variations of orange as make-up shades so this is unquestionably my favourite out of the three, and those who find a true orange difficult to wear may find solace in this slightly muted alternative. I had to use three coats here purely to even up streaks, but two would be enough if applied really well.

Duck Egg is a pastel bleu frost with silver and blue iridescent shimmer. It is a little bit on the sheer side so I used four coats hre, but the formula is very thin and easy to apply.
