Kozmetika Afrodita Oil Control 3 Active 24h Moisturizing Cream Review

Hi girls here is my Kozmetika Afrodita Oil Control 3 Active 24h Moisturizing Cream Review!
I’m hitting the bottom of this cream which means I should do a review of it. I’ve bought it because I thought I have an oily skin because my skin often breaks out. In the mean time I realized my skin is not oily, but since I bought this cream in May it was okay because we all get a bit shiny in summer.
I made a lipstick holder out of this cream’s packaging so I don’t have it and I can’t say what does the manufacturer say, but basicly this product is supposed to minimize your pores, balance the oiliness of skin and deep hydrate it. It is paraben and parafin free and comes in 50 ml pot. Its pH is 5,5.

In the beginning I used it before I applied mineral foundation and surprisingly this worked well as a base – no tightening, nothing. In the fall/winter the story was different, which means it doesn’t give your skin enough hydration if it’s normal (or dry, but I doubt anyone with dry skin would buy this). The texture is smooth. The cream has a citrusy smell, it is white and it doesn’t make any layer on your skin. It sinks into it easily. It also didn’t cause me any breakouts.

A quick overview of the first 5 ingredients:
-Propylene Glycol: organic alcohol used for skin conditioning or as a fragrance. May cause irritation or allergy.
-Cucumis Sativus Fruit Juice: cucamber extract, antioxidant, emollient (gives skin smooth and soft appearance)
-Glyceryl Stearate: lubricant, slows the loss of water (forms a barrier)
-Arachidyl Alcohol: fatty alcohol. emulsion stabilizer, emollient
You can see they really wanted to make skin looking fresh and smooth and give it a bit moisture, but unfortunatelly the second ingredient is quite irritating. I’ve also asked others (who know more about ingredients) to comment those ingredients and they said that it’s an average cream but lacks in antioxidants and has a lot of essential oils which can also be irritating.
In my opinion this is cream for oily skin, but don’t use it if it is sensitive too. It didn’t irritate my skin, it made it soft, but I also used a toner to give it an extra hydration and antioxidants. It worked well for me in the summer because my skin is a bit more shiny then. I think you might like it if you have oily skin but make sure you add some more antioxidants into your routine using some other products like toner or something.
