CHANEL VITALUMIERE AQUA ULTRA LIGHT SKIN PERFECTION MAKEUP B10 Beige – Pastel SPF15 review – Glam Radar

Good day beautiful ladies here is my  CHANEL VITALUMIERE AQUA ULTRA LIGHT SKIN PERFECTION MAKEUP SPF15 in B10 Beige – Pastel  review!

Before Vitalumiere Aqua, I had never been blown away by a Chanel foundation. I hear people rave about them very often, and whilst they were all undeniably nice, they were not much superior to the hoard of inexpensive foundations that primarily dominates my collection. Vitalumiere Aqua is completely different to all the other Chanel foundations. It has a super thin, lightweight and slightly watery texture which I adore. Some thicker textured foundations can feel overly moisturising for my combo-oily skin so I really appreciate these modern formulas that are thin but still manages to provide a decent coverage. One or two thin layers of the foundation is more than enough to unify my skin, although a separate concealer is still needed for blemishes and dark under eye circles. The foundation actually reminds me of the now discontinued Suqqu Liquid Foundation Aqua (review here) which I consider(ed) to be my HG. It doesn’t control shine on my oily T-zone or last on my skin quite as long as the Suqqu (about 5-6 hours) but it is a good enough alternative at a cheaper price.

The SA swatched both B10 Beige Pastel and B20 Beige Tendre on me, but B20 looked too golden against my sallow skintone so I settled for B10. B10 is a great match for people around NC15-20, and whilst it is a reasonably good match for me, it is still not quite yellow enough for my yellow-olive undertones. I need a shade that is pale, but super yellow. I know that Chanel has released a shade exclusively in Asia – BO20 Beige Ocre – which I hear is lighter and more yellow than B20, but darker than B10 that I hope to try soon. I really think Vitalumiere Aqua could potentially be a HG foundation for me.
