Hello everyone! Here is the Jemma Kidd All Over Radiance Cream Review!
Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Cream has definitely got to be one of my favorite highlighters, simply because of how natural it looks on the skin. When it comes to highlighters I definitely prefer a creamier texture, rather than a powder because you can blend them into the skin, making it look like you are glowing from within as opposed to just sitting on top of the skin which can look too overdone or cakey. I brought the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow cream in ‘Rose Gold’ the other shade in the collection is called ‘Iced gold’ which I think would suit palest skin tones. Since I have brought this highlighter I have been reaching for this instead of my Benefit High Beam and it has quickly become one of my most used and favorite makeup products.
This product is described as multi-purpose and versatile. It is a light diffusing cream, which can be used under or over foundation. If I am having a good skin day I will just use this product all over bare skin and not bother to use foundation over the top because this product as it has been described already, is very versatile. It gives color, even coverage and radiance all in one. It really does make your skin look fresher and awake. If I am wearing this cream over the top of foundation, I will simply use it for highlighting purposes and put it along the top of my cheek bones, on the brow bone, down my nose and to highlight the cupids bow.
The smallest amount of this product goes a very long way, I probably use this every day, either all over the skin or to highlight. I have had this product for 4 months now and it has hardly made a dent. You can build up the glow intensity by adding more or less, which is what I like about this product because I can choose the desired glow for in the day without looking too overdone. The texture of this product is lovely, it is very smooth and lightweight and you cannot feel any gritty shimmer particles in the product at all. The cream is very easy to blend and isn’t at all greasy or sticky and it can be applied effortlessly with fingers or a brush. The Finnish after it has been applied is almost like a matte powder, but still gives the skin an incredible dewy glow without looking shiny or oily.
The color is slightly more pinky gold than the ‘Iced Gold’ shade, which is more of a champagne/pearl color. As you can see in the picture that when applied with fingers you get more of an intense highlight but once blended into the skin with fingers or a brush it looks more natural and you can always add more if needed.
I would compare this highlighter with the MAC color bases, but the texture of the MAC color base is heavier and doesn’t blend as well and the Jemma Kidd highlighter, The Jemma Kidd contains a rather generous 10g of product whereas the MAC contains 3.2g so you are getting more for your money but both highlighters are lovely in different ways.
The only con that I have with this product is the packaging, I mean I love the huge mirror and how sleek and compact it all looks but the texture is similar to the Nars products which is that matte rubbery velvet kind of texture so it attracts all kinds of dirt and grubby fingerprints on the packaging and doesn’t come off when you try to clean it either. I cannot fault the product inside though!
