Illamasqua Powder Blush Duo in ‘Lover’ & ‘Hussy’ Review

Pleasant evening ladies! here is my Illamasqua Powder Blush Duo in ‘Lover’ & ‘Hussy’ Review!

Item no. 2 of my Illamasqua purchases is the powder blush duo in lover and hussy. I did mention this in my April favourites post and I think i’ve used it almost every day since I got it.

Firstly, the colours are super super pigmented so you can use the tiniest amount for a sheer subtle blush and then build it up for a more dramatic look. When I first got it I loved the pink, as for years that’s been pretty much the only colour i’ve used for blush, and the orange I wasn’t too sure about. But as soon as I used it I loved it! I thought I was just going to have a weird orange cheek but it just gives you a really nice, healthy, dare I say the G word ‘glow’ and is more of an apricot that orange. I haven’t tried doing this yet but I think also mixing them together will give a really nice maybe coral colour. They also last really well on the skin and I can go all day at college with it on and come home without it having it slid around or broken down on me. The compact it comes in is also really handy, as the mirror is a decent size not just for touch ups but also when your doing a full face of makeup on the go.

Again, it’s not cheap at £26. But really, your getting three different blushes out of it, so if you break it down that’s just under £9 per blush, which I think is really good considering that due to the high pigmentation they’ll last a good year at least.

So, one more product to go from my Illamasqua trio!
