Spring is almost here and one of the things that we’re really looking forward to wearing again is a romper. A romper is the perfect piece to reach for if you want something that’s easy, relaxed and chic. When worn with all the right stuff and style the right way, a romper can easily and effortlessly take you from day to night, making it the perfect outfit for a long day ahead. Here are some ideas on how to wear rompers from day to night that might help you plan out your next outfit.
- ADD A BLAZER – if you’ve got a rather sexy romper that you think would be too ‘clubby’ for a daytime outfit, simply throw on a blazer on top to tame it down and you’re ready to get on with your day. Come night time when you’re at a club ready to party the night away, just take of your blazer to reveal that sexy glam romper. This trick is ideal if you have several different places to be during the day and have no time to get back home and change for the night.
- BLING IT ON – another way to take your romper from day to night in an instant is by simply blinging it out with fun and eye-catching statement jewelry. Now, this is a much easier option because jewelry doesn’t take up too much space in your purse and isn’t heavy at all so you won’t have any problem having it with you all day and only wearing it when you’re ready to transform your outfit for the night but I have to say, this styling trick works mostly just on plain rompers and not printed ones.
- SHOE SWITCH – this one is one of my personal favorite ways to switch any look from day to night. Changing the shoes you wear your romper with can instantly give it a whole new vibe. Rompers worn with flats scream lazy summer afternoon but pair it up with sexy strappy heels and you have yourself an outfit fit for the night.
- LAYER OVER – want to give your romper a more feminine look so you can wear it to date night with your man? No worries. Just, layer a nice skirt over it and you’re good to go. Make sure to choose a skirt that isn’t fitted because then the romper fabric underneath would bulge. I would suggest going for something like a full skirt so as not to make the romper obvious.
