LAURA MERCIER LIP PLUMPER IN WILDBERRY REVIEW – Glam Radar

Here is my review of LAURA MERCIER LIP PLUMPER IN WILDBERRY !

When Chanel Rouge Coco Shine came out with the color Boy, I was excited to purchase it and use it for a “my lips but better” look. However, that wasn’t the case at all. After trying every single color in the line, I realized just how pigmented my lips really were. None of the colors showed up on me and I wasn’t about to fork over the money for something that I would use as a chapstick.

While shopping in Sephora, my daughter tried on this Wild Berry lip plumping gloss by Laura Mercier. It looked so pretty and brightened up her face so I asked her to show me the gloss she was wearing. I was shocked to see it was a berry color as I’ve neglected berry tones for quite some time now. I was also shocked to see that the gloss contained lip plumping properties. My daughter can usually tell if a gloss is a lip plumper and throws a fit as soon as her lips start tingling (which proves this gloss doesn’t tingle one bit.)

Although it looked better on my daughter’s tan skin, I purchased it because it gave me the “my lips but better” look I had given up on. Also, the formula was unlike anything I had tried before. It’s a thin formula that almost feels like gel. It’s very comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel the least bit sticky. It contains the slightest multicolor glitter which is not chunky but instead gives the gloss a subtle sheen.

The gloss smells like orange sherbet in the tube. However, I can’t smell it once applied to my lips. Although I would purchase more Laura Mercier lip glosses because of the texture, I didn’t find this particular color to last very long on me. I would say it held up a good two hours if I didn’t eat or drink anything. As far as the lip plumping formula goes, I didn’t notice anything different. It gives my lips a healthy look but it doesn’t particularly make them appear plumper.
