Hello! It’s Friday again! Time Flies indeed!
My Baby’s 2nd Birthday Party is coming up, I’ll be busy for few days..
So, I thought it would be interesting to just share with you what I picked up 3 days ago from MAC.
I had no real intention of purchasing anything from the MAC Me Over Collection again, since I already made my First haul, in which I got the Mac 226 and the Stunner Blush. You can check my previous post.
Apparently, I was tempted with the beauty of Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in offshoot,
I honestly don’t have anything like that from my stash so I gave in.. and I also got the Mac 211, it was the last piece left, so I didn’t risk to lose it. yeah the law of supply and demand got me!
But No regrets, I love these babies!
No Lip Balm, No Liner
Cremesheen Offshoot ~ MAC described it as a mid tone neutral Pink.
But I find it more of a gorgeous berry shade that isn’t too strong when applied heavily, and somewhat rosy plummy neutral when applied lightly.. hope that makes sense.. =)
It’s a very versatile shade that will suit any of the natural or smokey eye make-up, wearable for day and night and will definitely flatter any skin tone.
I’m a bit picky on wearing red lipstick, and I find this shade as a great alternative. Moreover, it’s definitely great for the Fall weather.
No Lip Balm, No Liner
I also got the MAC Cremesheen- Speed Dial.
I wasn’t interested with this shade before, I don’t know why I suddenly find it very flattering and pretty. It looks scary on its own since it’s quite bright in the tube.
But, when I tried it, it’s a Gorgeous Pink and is similar to Barbie Pink with a pinch of Bubblegum, that brightens up my face. It’s not a pale light pink on me, Not too dark and not too loud for a day wear.
I’m loving it.
Here’s the hand swatch~for reference
Both shades are cremesheen finishes, high to full coverage, long lasting.
They’re creamy quite moisturizing and glossy but fairly matte looking.
I’m so HAPPY that I purchased the Mac 211 eyeliner brush.
It’s now a must have for me. Probably it’s one of the Best eyeliner brushes that I’ve used.
I find it so easy to create the thinnest line or build to create a thicker one because of its firmer and denser tapered pointed end, so it has less bend, which also makes winging eyeliner so easy. Perfect!
I’m so satisfied with the MAC 211 and MAC 226 Brushes from this collection.
