One of the few good things about the recession is brands try that much harder towards parting you from your hard earned cash. We in the UK have been really fortunate in terms of magazine freebies recently, and it feels like at least one magazine will include some sort of gift to tempt consumers each month. This month is particularly fruitful in terms of make-up freebies (the only reason why I ever buy magazines nowadays) and as well as Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Red, and Marie Claire all offer freebies with their current issues.
July’s edition of Harper’s Bazaar UK includes one of three Leighton Denny nail polishes. Do Me A Flavour is an incredibly bright orange creme from the S/S 2011 Gelato Collection, Viva La Diva is a vibrant cool-toned red creme, and Supermodel is a purple/brown/grey (aka greige). Harper’s cost £4.20, but each polish retail for £11 individually so there’s still a good saving. These are my first Leighton Denny nail polishes and uh, I think my wallet is in trouble… the formula is on the thick side but they are still incredibly easy to apply and I love the glossy finish.
