So as you know by now one of my favorite desserts is cupcakes!!! They are simply the perfect size and bight for any occasion. I am also not shy to admit that I can eat a million cupcakes at once. Well, not a million but some number close to that. I recently discovered LA Sweets which is an amazing bakery for cupcakes. Their flavors are out of control and I can’t help but admit I day dream about their yummy goodness everyday. You have to check out their website (http://www.lasweets.com/) and see all their amazing treats. They are known for their Guava Cheescake flavor but I am obsessed with their chocolate candy bar flavors. So I got inspired to create one of my own and from the feedback I got I am sure this is a recipe I will keep making again and again. I decided to give me a break, give me a break, break me off a piece of that KIT KAT BAR CUPCAKE! Omg, I love Kit Kat bars and I do not know anyone who doesn’t like a chocolatey wafer treat. So enjoy this recipe and the photos I truely had a blast making them!
1 box of Ducan Hines Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
1 1/4 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Chocolate Fudge
Crunchy Kit Kat bars
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix the cake mix, heavy cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and brown sugar. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners. Cut in half Kit Kat bars and place one in each cupcake liner. Pour in the batter in each liner and place them in the oven for 23 minutes. Once they are done remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes. Now for the fun part! When they have cooled off you can begin to ice them. After you can place some Kit Kat shavings and the other half of the bar on top for garnish.
