Copper lined eyes and purple eye makeup – Glam Radar

Hey doods. Just wanted to say hi to my followers, new and old. Thanks for reading and putting up with my absence. New followers: please feel free to leave me a comment, I love hearing from your guys and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

How’s everyone enjoying their weekend? Hopefully yours is going better than mine. Me and the hubs decided to take the kids out to the zoo yesterday since it was a ridiculously nice and sunny day, but I woke up feeling a bit on the yucky side. It felt like my brain was thick and swollen inside my skull, I was dizzy and a bit quesy but it all started to subside by the time we left. I was fine for the first hour and a half at the zoo and after that it went downhill fast. Luckily the kids were getting bored and tired from the heat so we were going to leave anyway. I got home and just slept for like 6 hours, woke up for 2 and went back to sleep, up for 1 back to sleep. Thank goodness it was his day off so he could help with the kids. So I would say that yesterday I spent 85% of my day sleeping. Yikes! And I haven’t eaten since Thursday afternoon (it’s noon on Saturday now) cuz everything I eat makes my tummy hurt so you best believe I’m a cranky mutha. So I thought I’d take my mind off things by posting. I don’t have the energy to eat…but I…must…post…

First off I need to ask you lovelies for some help. Have any of you tried Make Up For Ever’s HD foundation and if so, what do you think of it? HG material? I have a sample, but I got it in a kit and the colour is so off that I don’t even want to touch it. I’m looking to get one, but I really HATE shopping for foundation. I never get matched right which is fine, cuz I know I can do it myself, but no one really lets you. You know what I mean? I think that SA’s must get in trouble if they’re not doing it for you. SA’s love the swatch method, but it never works on me cuz it looks great as a tiny spot on my face, but my face is a whole whack of colours and I get oxidation from every single foundation I’ve used so I always get matched to a darker foundation than what I need. And I can never find anyone to do a whole face for me and I would feel weird attacking their counter looking for makeup removers, foundations, sponges, powder…That would be weird right? But I really need to find a full coverage foundation that isn’t cakey and looks good in pics. MAC’s SFF is much too goopy for me right now and the SPF is killing me since I already wear sunscreen in my moisturizer. HAAAALLPP ME LADIES!

So here’s the 4th and last intallment in my bright eyeliner series. I used Urban Decay’s 24/7 eye liner on my lower lash line. Hopefully you can see it. I think that this colour is the most subtle out of them all and probably easiest to wear out (in my opinion).

Here’s the rundown (all mac unless specified): -deep damson e/s from lash line to crease -falling star e/s in the crease -orb e/s as a brown highlight -ricepaper e/s as an inner eye highlight -blitz & glitz fluid line on the upper lash line -everyday minerals blush in apple -drizzlegold loose beauty powder as a cheek highlight -rimmel’s eastend snob lip liner -glam couture lippie in true love I’m loving this glam couture lipstick. It like eastend snob, but half a shade deeper and really creamy. And it lasts a long time compared to other lippies.

Okay, that’s it for today, now it’s back to moping around the house…well, moping around the couch I’m confined to in front of the telly anyway.
