Hello beautiful ladies here is my Collection 2000 Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream Review!
Lip creams are not commonly found on the UK high street and I remember when Bourjois used to make a range of matte lip creams that I adored. Sadly, they have long been discontinued so Collection 2000’s Cream Puffs are very much a welcome addition for those who of us that love matte lip colours. The range is very small, and there are only four shades to choose from. I picked up Cotton Candy (cool medium-dark pink, pulls quite purplish on me), Fairy Cake (warm coral pink) and Angel Cake (medium brown, pulls quite rosy on my highly pigmented lips).
The formula is very lightweight and siliconey with a strong caramel candy fragrance. It looks and feels amazing when applied; the high silicone content fills in fine lines on my lips, the pigmentation ensures an even all-over colour upon one easy swipe, and I adore the velvety matte finish. They last surprisingly well too, considering they feel so lightweight when worn, and I get around 4-5 hours of wear. Their only downside is of course that matte’s are not the most forgiving of lipstick formulas, and this lip cream, in particular, does not last well on dry, flaky lips – I can only wear mine when my lips are in excellent condition, and, for me, that pretty much means I won’t be using them again until next Spring/Summer.
