Clarins eye quartet mineral palette – iris blossom review

Spring is finally looming and if there’s ever an excuse to update your make up, now is the time. Clarins
have brought out a yet another fantastic edition to their wonderful eye quartet palettes, this time in the form of Iris Blossom. These four eyeshadows capture the essence of spring/summer make up. Giving you everything you need to enhance your eyes with a slightly bronzed/slightly bright smokey look. If you’re anything like me, your make up tends to reflect the seasons. For me, spring/summer make up is all about the use of fresh and vivid colours. It’s time to ditch the dull and put the spring back into your make up. clarins eye quartet mineral palette - iris blossom review
The palette provides everything you need to take you from a fresh faced day look, to a slightly sultry night time eye. My favourite shade is the gorgeous taupey-bronze on the left. It’s so easy to wear and blends amazingly beautifully vibrant iris style purple. Whilst the perfect spring/summer highlight lifts the brows and also looks wonderful popped in the inner corners. All three of these shades are extremely pigmented and pack a ton of shimmer. Whilst the ashy black, is slightly less shimmery,  making it great for lining the eyes and also blended along side the purple.

I would also just like to point out that aside from a slight bit of cropping my camera managed to capture this shot. PRAISE THE SUN.

As you can see not only have Clarins got the shades spot on but the packaging is beautiful. After all, beautiful make up needs gorgeous packaging, right?
This post is a little teaser of what is to come, if you will. I will be including this eye quartet alongside some spring lip looks later this week. Where you’ll get to appreciate the Iris Blossom palette in all its glory.
How are you changing up your make up this spring? Does the sun make up as eager to change things up as it does me?!
