Check this out girls my Chanel Rouge Coco Shine In Sari D’eau & Rebelle Review!
I really enjoy the soft balmy texture of the Rouge Coco Shines for Summer, but I must confess I am not quite so in love with the formula as I wanted/expected to be. The first few shades I bought were much too sheer, and each required so many layers to be distinguishable on my (pigmented) lips that I was rather put off. I found the glossy shine faded much too quickly for my liking (well under an hour in my experience) and the lighter shades required reapplying every 1-2 hours. This time round, I ordered the brighter colours from the line up, and whilst I am much happier with their pigmentation and longevity, I am still not blown away.
Sari D’eau (44) is a bright orange with golden shimmer. The shimmer is ultra fine, and merely adds even more glossiness to the lips without being frosty. I hesitated between this and Liberte, but Liberte is significantly sheerer, and Sari D’eau translates better on my pigmented lips. Also reviewed at Temptalia (here).
Rebelle (63) is an uncomplicated red. Like Sari D’eau, it is one of the more pigmented shades of the Rouge Coco range, but still sheer enough to make a great casual red lip. I’m not a huge fan of this kind of red – I favour orange toned reds personally – and Rebelle feathers on me a little, but it is a lovely colour none the less.
