Celebrity Secret: Apple Cider Vinegar

Hey Girlies! We are here to share with you one of our favorite tips with you today. Apple Cider Vinegar is something that almost everyone has at all times. (Seriously, go check your pantry!) Ever feel your hair right after you washed it you have a bunch of buildup? Ew. I know. I’ve tried so many shampoos and let’s be honest; nothing works. Except this puppy. Miracle product. Seriously. Let’s get into it.

Apple Cider

Before you get into the shower, measure out the certain amount of apple cider vinegar. The recommended amount for oily/normal hair is one cup, and the recommended amount for dry hair is only 1 teaspoon. What I will typically do is measure out 1 cup, and then start with just a bit of that, and add more if needed. Once you’ve measured it out, get into your shower and rinse your hair. Taking your cup, pour a small amount on your scalp. Massage it into your hair and rinse. If you don’t feel squeaky clean, repeat this step, but try not to exceed 1 cup. MAKE SURE you don’t accidentally get this stuff in your eyes, or it will hurt A LOT! (Trust me, I’ve done it before!), so make sure you pour the vinegar kind of in the upper middle of your scalp with your head tilted back. Then, wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo, rinse, and repeat with the shampoo once more to fully get that vinegar smell out. Then, use your favorite conditioner on your ends. This won’t dry out your hair too much, because you are just applying it to the scalp, so it will not make your ends brittle.
I hope this post helps all of you! Enjoy your squeaky new hair!
