Caramel Cream Cookie Brownie Bar – Glam Radar

by Natalie · March 1, 2016

Today is Thursday and you know what that means???  It is almost Friday!!  Thank God for that because for some reason this week felt like an eternity and I just hate when that happens.  Been putting together a lot of new upcoming projects and mentally preparing myself for turning 26 next week.  I have to keep reminding myself that I am only getting younger ha ha.  Anyways, I decided this week to put together a quick and simple brownie recipe for you guys and of course it has caramel inside!  This is a simple three layered brownie with just store bought ingredients.  If you are in a hurry and need to make some brownies this would be your go to recipe!

BIG NEWS!!!  I am happy to announce that next week my sister will be taking over the blog with two amazing posts!  I was hesitant at first since her obsession with shoes made me think twice about letting her post.  But I made sure she realized this is a food blog ha ha I am just kidding.  She is an amazing cook and I hope you all can welcome her with a big cyber hug!  Love her so much!  She got engaged last year with her boyfriend of 11 years and we recently got her wedding dress in NYC.  The other day we got a chance to go pick out the bridesmaid dresses and we found the perfect one.  She has been a bit stressed with planning the wedding so I am sure having some time for herself to cook would be a great break for her.  Love you Jen!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease the 8×8 brownie pan with non stick cooking spray.  Begin to press the cookie dough on the bottom of the pan forming the crust of the brownie bar.  Then unwrap all of the caramel creams and place them on top of the cookie dough.  You can arrange them in rows or you can just toss them in.  Now for the brownie batter you need to follow the instructions on the back of the box.  Once you have finished making the batter just pour it on top of the caramel creams until they are completely covered in brownie goodness.  Then cover up the pan with aluminum foil and let it bake in the oven for 30 minutes.  Once that is done take it out of the oven and remove the foil.  Pour on top the chocolate chips and then place it back in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.  After that is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool before cutting into slices and serving.
