Caramel Chocolate Cake

Caramel Chocolate Cake recipe – What You Need  
1 1/2 cups of unbleached organic cake flour
1 1/4 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of milk
Caramel Sauce (click on link above for recipe)
2 sticks of unsalted butter
4 cups of confectioners sugar
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
2 tbsp of heavy cream

What You Need To Do
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Spray two non stick 8 inch cake pans with non stick cooking spray and set them aside.  Mix in one bowl all the dry ingredients.  Which are the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.  Then in another bowl add the eggs, sugar, and milk.  Mix the wet and dry ingredients together and pour equal amounts of batter in each cake pan.  Place it in the oven for 30 minutes and take them out to cool once they are done.  Then use an electric stand mixer and place the butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and heavy cream and mix it until creamy and smooth.  Take the cakes out of the cake pans and place one on a cake stand.  Then pour some homemade caramel sauce on top of the cake and then top it with the other cake.  After that begin to frost the cake with the butter cream icing.  Then add some decoration to caramel chocolate cake  and serve!
