Too Faced Smoky Eye Shadow Collection review and swatches – Glam Radar

I’m a sucker for a good smoky eye palette- hello stila talking palettes & MAC smoky holiday palettes! Next on my list is the new offering from Benefit Cosmetics.

The latest addition to my stash is the Too Faced Smoky Eye Shadow Collection.
It’s a beauty! The packaging is typical Too Faced. It’s full of sliding drawers, magnetised bits & different compartments. I quite like it, but I understand that it could be a little clunky for some. The bottom drawer contains two little sponge applicators that if I’m being honest, I won’t use. But they look cute!

The palette itself contains 9 eye shadows, arranged into groups of 3- Day Smoke, Fashion Smoke & Classic Smoke.

There’s a cute little section above the palette that contains an instruction card for each look.

I’m super impressed with the majority of the eye shadows. The shadows from the Day Smoke & Classic Smoke looks are baby’s butt smooth & really nicely pigmented. The Classic Smoke shadows are just a little chalky in comparison to the others.

I’m already a huge fan of this palette. With nine shades to choose from, the combination of looks and colour combinations is endless. It has the staple neutrals and classic greys and blacks. What I think sets this palette apart from the other smoky eye palettes in the market is the addition of the green & blue fashion shades. Both look amazing against the black shades and really give the palette a modern twist.

The eye shadow pans in the palette look quite small at first glance but they’re comparable in size to the pans in NARS and MAC palettes.
