Beauty Tips For Caring of Mature Skin | Glam Radar

Hey Ladies, Take a look at my new Beauty Tips For Caring of Mature Skin.

Mature skin benefits from rich moisturizing treatments and cell-regenerating essential oils. Scrubs and facial masks help exfoliate skin and stimulate rejuvenation. Cleansers, toners and moisturisers listed in my ‘Beauty Basic Caring For Dry Skin’ are also appropriate for mature skin care.

Go to bed at the same time every night and try to sleep for at least eight hours. This encourages rapid eye movement sleep, during which your body repairs and regenerates tissue. Avoid caffeine or alcohol close to bedtime, because they can disrupt the sleep cycle. Vigorous exercise is as beneficial for your complexion as it is for your muscle tone. Exercise increases circulation and stimulates skin cleansing through perspiration. Aromatherapy Moisturizing Oil.   Frankincense and rose essential oils make an excellent blend for stimulating cellular rejuvenation. aromatherapy-moisturizing-oil What you need: 30ml of jojoba oil, 7 drops of frankincense essential oil and 3 drops of rose essential oil.

Combine the ingredients in a small glass pharmacy bottle with a dropper and shake well. After cleansing your face, gently massage several drops of the moisturizing oil on to your damp skin with your fingertips.

Orange Blossom Cleansing Cream.  This rich cream is suitable for dry and mature skin types. Neroli and palmarosa essential oils rejuvenate mature skin. Vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract serve as preservatives. orange-blossom-cleansing-cream What you need: 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil, 1 tablespoon of almond oil, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of grated beeswax, 1 400-IU capsule of vitamin E oil, 4 tablespoons of rose water, 3 drops of neroli essential oil, 3 drops of palmarosa essential oil and 3 drops of grapefruit seed extract. Gently, warm the jojoba, almond and coconut oils with the beeswax over a low heat until the wax melts. Remove from the heat. Add the contents of the vitamin E capsule. Warm the rose water over a low heat. Remove from the heat. When both liquids are lukewarm, slowly pour the rose water into the oil, beating slowly with a wire mix or a electric beater set on the lowest speed until coo, thick and smooth. Stir in the essential oils and grape seed extract. Spoon into a clean jar and cool completely before covering. Store in a cool place. Apply the cream sparingly to your skin, wipe off with a damp cotton wool disk, and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with a toner. Aloe And Lavender Facial Mist. Aloe vera juice, and lavender and frankincense essential oils have cell-renewing properties and make a wonderfully fragrant facial mist. aloe-and-lavender-facial-mist  What you need: 1 teaspoon of distilled witch hazel, 10 drops of lavender essential oil, 10 drops of frankincense essential oil and 250ml of aloe vera  juice. Combine the witch hazel with the oils in a spray bottle. Shake vigorously. Add the aloe vera juice and shake again. Mist your skin as often as desired. To keep your skin youthful, use a moisturizer every day. Dry skin wrinkles more easily than moist skin, and chronically dry skin is more likely to develop permanent wrinkles than skin that is kept moisturized. Papaya contains protein-digesting enzymes that gently remove dead skin cells. Frankincense and comfrey stimulates the production of new skin cells, and honey moisturizes the skin.  What you need: 2 tablespoons of mashed papaya, 1 teaspoon of honey, 2 drops of frankincense essential oil and 1 or more of powdered comfrey leaf. Mix the mashed papaya, honey and frankincense essential oil. Add enough comfrey to make a thick, spreadable mask and smooth on to clean, damp skin. Leave on for 15 minutes, then remove with warm water.  The natural alpha-hydroxy acids in apples and strawberries help to slough off dead skin cells. What you need: 30g of diced apple, 2 strawberries sliced, 2 tablespoons of whole-milk yogurt, 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of cosmetic clay. Blend the fruit, yogurt and honey until smooth. Mix in enough clay to make a spreadable mask. Wash your face and neck with warm water and apply the mask. Relax for 20 minutes, remove the mask with warm water, and apply a toner and moisturizer.
