Being a blonde is a high maintenance job; whether I’ve visited the hairdressers in the past week or the past month for a colour touch up my roots are always pretty obvious. This drives me nuts.Well before the big dry shampoo boom Batiste has been a must have in my collection for years to help me disguise my darker side.I spotted their newest addition last week on the shelves and I had to buy it having tried and loved most of their other variations.

Instead of the usual white powder that most dry shampoos use which leaves a not very attractive or natural ashy/grey colour in the hair that has to be thoroughly brushed out, this version is slightly coloured.

It comes in two versions, blonde and brunette offering a hint of colour which makes it amazing for covering roots if you have any and use it for this purpose like me.

batiste-dry-shampoo2-1I used to think the original versions were good at helping me prolong my colour just that little bit longer but the hint of colour version works twice as well.I don’t need to brush it out, I just spray it on and rub it in; it is undetectable!

Tada, minus roots I am now a natural blonde (wink, wink!)  Batiste Dry Shampoo with a Hint of Colour for Light and Blonde Hair its a really Great dry shampoo for blonde hair !

Slightly more expensive than the original versions at £2.99 a can it’s still much cheaper than other dry shampoos on the market and in my opinion much better.Dry shampoo is a great way to get instant volume, freshen your hair, get rid of grease throughout the day and now make your colour look better for longer.

If you dye your hair you have to try this! Say bye bye to depressing roots!
