I’ve been wanting to do this for ages and I finally took the plunge! Here is my review of balayage / ombre hair !
I was apprehensive for several reasons
(1) What if I ended up looking like a 15 year old teenybopper with really bad regrowth???
(2) Bad experiences have made me nervous about going to the hairdressers in general
(3) Asians have straight black hair (usually) and I think this trend is more suited towards people with naturally wavy brunette hair
After being reassured by people that I do not in fact not look like a rebellious teenager with bad regrowth, I have to say I’m quite happy with the results! 🙂
Excuse my tired face
After 20 years of having dark hair, it’s a very odd feeling to look down and think “wow… that’s my hair O_O!” It’s think it’s a little too bright now but it should fade a little over time anyway
asos oversized boyfriend shirt // cosi bella skirtI got this done at DJ’s in Chinatown. I was quite happy with the customer service but I think the price they charged me was a bit steep ($325 including the cut). If you’re looking for a much
cheaper alternative, there’s always DIY! A quick Google search and you’ll be on your way. Sadly I don’t have the courage to cut let alone colour my own hair haha 🙁
I’d love to hear what you guys think! 😀
