This week i will be speaking about my Past : Avon Cream to Powder Foundation .My present : Maybellene Fit Me Foundation in 120 and Future foundation : Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation!
Avon Cream to Powder Foundation.
I was never really into foundations all that much, i remember back in my school days when all the girls were really into make up and caking their faces with foundation to the point where it didn’t match thier skin tone at all.
Now to someone that has never tried foundation, it was a scary thought! i didn’t know at the time that you could get different shades i presumed you only got the one shade, as all the girls seemed to be the same shade. So i was put off foundation and settled with some powder.
I am not even sure how this managed to get in my possesion, it was a very long time ago, but however this was the foundation – if you can call it that – i used for many, many years.
I loved the fact that it went on smoothly and it matched my skin perfectly and i didn’t need to touch it up, although i didn’t know i could reapply. Silly little 15 year old! haha.
I liked the fact it went to powder on my face and i felt much more comfortable wearing it.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.
At present i am wearing the Maybellene Fit Me in 120, to be honest i think this is a little dark for my skin tone, but it works just now as i am slapping the fake tan on! So basically i must resemble the 15 year old girls that i mentioned previously! haha.
But no, it’s certainly not orange at all, i quite like it at the moment. It has good coverage and i don’t need to reapply, but then again does anyone really reapply their foundation?!
It doesn’t fall off my face either which in some previous cases some foundations have done!
Just now this is the prefect foundation for me, but maybe when the colder months come i may need to switch back to my ivory shades!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.
This is something i have lushed after for a while now, every beauty blogger owns this and it is meant to have perfect coverage, which all girls want right?!
I just have never had to chance to own or never really spotted it whilst i have been out shopping!
But this might have to be on my christmas list this year!
