Just a head’s up; this is probably one of my favourite outfits I’ve worn in a long time, so prepare for an insanely good mood. First of all; new location. Ish. Instead of standing up against the wall, I’ve ventured out into the garden for a new little photo-spot. Leave your comments below to tell me which you prefer! The Sun reared it’s beautiful little head today, as it did pretty much everywhere, and I took the opportunity to get my legs out. Of course, that meant I also covered myself head to toe in black, but who can blame me? I’m a monochrome girl at heart.
Blouse: Charity Shop
Pinafore: New Look £12.99
The sun might be out, but that means rather dodgy lighting for good ol’ Casper the friendly ghost over here. Sun + pale people = ridiculously bright features. Ho hum. Like I said, this is probably one of my favourite outfits I’ve worn in a long time; you all know my rather ridiculous love for pinafore dresses, and this gorgeous combo is no excuse.
I’m digging this new background. Get it? Digging? Because I’m in the garden? Such fun. Black is such a good colour. Could you tell I liked black? This pretty little peter-pan collar shirt goes so well with the pinafore, I could just scream. Yes, it’s black with a tiny bit of white, sue me. It looks fabbity-fab, and with a few bright accessories to liven it up, I can’t see there being a problem with it.
Perfect evidence that your local charity shop can produce the most amazing little bargains every now and then. This was about £2, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it. The sleeves are a little bit too baggy because of my weird arms, but I can look past that with the utterly gorgeous ruffles on the button-down section. I will definitely be wearing this down in London!
