When they stare it’s just a private affair. Accessorize Scandal Blush
Picture the scene. After a hectic Monday in the office, you need to run off to an engagement party as soon as you can feasibly can, but the make-up you so carefully applied in the morning is looking more than a little tired, and you cleverly left your emergency supplies at home – what’s a girl to do? Run into the nearest Superdrug of course and stock up – as if an excuse was needed.
So when in this exact same predicament earlier in the year (what are the chances?), I picked up Scandal, a baked blush from the unashamedly girly Accessorize range.
At the risk of stating the obvious, this blusher is ever so pretty. As if the beautifully baked deep berry pink and gold swirls weren’t enough, the adorable packaging takes this blush into a different stratosphere. But is it all killer and no filler? Thankfully, no. This is a well pigmented blush that applies and blends easily to the skin. Applied to the skin, this is a warm pink berry shade with a natural and subtle shimmer, and wonderfully, with a no glitter finish meaning that is not just confined to after hours.
My only qualm with this blusher is down to my fair skin. Used sparingly, this creates a beautifully soft natural flush, but it is all to easy to apply this with a heavy hand giving a look that is commonly seen on clowns at the circus. Apart from this, this is a great everyday blusher that is perfect for on the go. Just make sure you use a mirror, otherwise we will have to send in the clowns.
Priced at £5 this is available from Superdrug and Accessorize.
