A La Carte Cosmetics Divine Lash Mascara Review

So I promised to show you all what my favourite mascara is and I’ve finally got round to it now.. Let’s welcome Cosmetic A La Carte’s Divine Lash Mascara in Black. I received this in a Love Me Beauty box a couple of months ago and have not stopped using it since. Cosmetics A La Carte isn’t a brand I’d heard of before but by taking a look at their website they look like quite a well established brand based in London, they also offer make-up lessons too so it sounds like they know what they’re talking about when it comes to make-up. I love the look of their packaging, it’s simple, sleek and silver and is very low key but sophisticated, unfortunately the mascara did have the words a la carte scrolled on the lid but it seems to have rubbed off, probably because I’ve been using it so darn much!!

The wand is my perfect kind of wand, long, thin and made from that hard plastic, you know just like the L’Oreal Telescopic ones. It doesn’t bend when your using it which is something I hate in wands because it makes the application so messy, there’s just no need for it.

A La Carte Cosmetics Divine Lash Mascara-when worn

This look might not be to everyone’s taste, but I love thick, voluminous lashes, the kind that your dolls used to have and this mascara creates that perfectly, I’ve never been happier with the way my lashes look. It completely opens up my eyes and grabs every single lash so that they frame my eyes as best as possible, It’s the perfect mascara to use for a natural fluttery look, with which I’d just use one coat but for a dramatic big eye effect it works even better, for a night time look, I’d usually use two coats which is what I’ve used in the photo. It builds up easily and doesn’t flake off or smudge under the eyes during the day and it stays put literally until I take it off at night. I get so many compliments when I wear this mascara and although it’s on the higher end of the price range (£23) I’d say it’s worth every penny and I’ll definitely be purchasing it again.
What’s your favourite mascara?
Have you tried Divine Lash?
Love, Hannah
